On Monday, November 29, 2021, at approximately 9:50 p.m., officers responded to the area of Potomac Drive at Concord Drive, to investigate a report of several gunshots being fired in the area. Officers arrived to find several witnesses, who reported seeing gunshots being fired from a vehicle into a home on Concord Drive. From witness and the residents of the home targeted statements, it was clear that the suspects in the vehicle were known to the homeowners and the incident may be retaliation for an earlier domestic disturbance. The car, owner, and several suspects were later located at an apartment complex in Belleville. These suspects remain in custody at the Fairview Heights Police Department while the investigation continues.
