On Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020, at approximately 7:50 a.m., officers responded to Five Guys Burgers, 6570 North Illinois, to investigate an armed robbery that had just occurred.
When officers arrived, it was learned that two males had entered the backdoor to the restaurant and displayed a handgun. The suspects ordered the manager to open the safe, where they took an unknown amount of cash. The suspects are described as black males wearing black jackets and masks over their faces. They left the store through the back door, leaving in an unknown vehicle.

There were no injuries reported as a result of the robbery.
