Fatal Structure Fire

Fairview Heights, IL – At approximately 0237 hours on March 13^th, 2020, the Fairview Heights Police Department and French Village Fire Department responded to the 9100 block of Bunkum Road for a report of a structure fire. Upon the fire being extinguished, a deceased 62 year old male was found within the residence. The incident is being investigated by the Fairview Heights Police Department, the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal, and the St. Clair County Coroner’s Office.
