On July 8, 2021 at approximately 7 p.m., it was reported to the Fairview Heights Police department that Tyshawn D. Owens, 25 years of age, had left northern Illinois on a Greyhound Bus in route to Memphis, TN to visit his grandmother.  Tyshawn called his relative and told them he had gotten off at the wrong stop in St. Louis and was now in Fairview Heights close to the Metro Link Station on Il Rt 161 and St. Clair Avenue.  Tyshawn was calling from a business in that area and does not have a cellular phone.  Tyshawn was scheduled to arrive in Memphis on 07/08/2021 at 10:30 a.m., but called from the Metro Link area at 2:22 p.m.  on July 8th.  He told his family he would find his own way to Memphis and did not require any help.  He has not been heard from since.  Tyshawn suffers from mental illness and may be in danger.

Tyshawn is a black male, 25 years of age, 5’11 tall, 170 lbs, was last seen wearing a black shirt with neon highlights, green shorts, black and white tennis shoes, and carrying an all grey bag.

He may still be in the St. Louis area.  Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Fairview Heights Police Department at (618) 489-2100.  If anyone sees Tyshawn, please call your local police department.
