On Monday, April 1, 2019 at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to Family Dollar, 10231 Lincoln Trail, for an armed robbery that had just occurred.

When officers arrived, they learned that a slender, black male with grey facial hair, wearing a dark jacket with white hood, San Antonio Spurs baseball cap, blue pants, and one glove on his left hand, came into the store and purchased a pack of cigarettes with cash.  Once this transaction was completed the suspect picked a lighter and began a second transaction.  When the clerk opened the cash drawer the suspect pulled a black, semi-automatic handgun from inside his jacket and pointed it at the clerk.  The suspect reached into the cash drawer and began to remove the money.

The suspect exited the store walking westbound in the parking lot.  It is unknown if he entered a vehicle or lives in the area.

Officers scoured the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
